HELLO!

yesterday the sec2 went to water venture @ changi for our
1 star kayaking course :]
we had 4 instructers, siti, shan shan, meiying, jingxing
first, we learnt the dfferent parts of the kayak, paddle, etc :]
next we had capsize drills, it was a great experience.
most of us could do it by the 2nd try,
but with some exceptions. It was fun :]
after that we break for lunch.
when we came back we were taught how to paddle
forward, backward, turn left/right, etc.
we got into the water again and practise the different skills.
after that, we had debrief and went to clean up
we waited for everyone to finish and then went home.
it was a fun experience overall :]
only that we were sun-burnt and attacked by mosquitoes.
HAHA. lets look forward to next week's kayaking again!
